* Update

From January 2024, this tent will only be made in the new version that uses short pole sleeves and clips, rather than continious pole sleeves. This is easier to set up in strong winds, simply peg the 4 corners, insert the poles into the short pole sleeves, and clip on.

WEIGHTS

In its lightest form, with an 80cm wide mesh inner and Easton 8.7mm poles, the tent weighs 1110 grams.

Fabric inner (80cm wide) - adds 70 grams

DAC 10.25mm poles - adds 145 grams

Mesh inner (120cm wide) - adds 70 grams

Fabric inner (120cm wide) - adds 140 grams

* Easton 8.7mm poles break down to short 37cm sections, the DAC 10.25mm poles are 44cm long sections. Pole sets available here.

The inner tents are now all fitted with Silpoly PU floors (silicone coated on outside, PU coated on inside, so not slippery)

SIZING

The Saor is fine for people up to about 185cm tall (6ft 1"). For taller people, or people with long torso lengths, sit up headroom might be too tight. A larger version has been made at request.
